The spirits of creativity
It's a mysterious world of wonder where the spirits of creativity dwell. They are part of our creative process and most of the time they help us along the way to finish our work of art, but sometimes they also set little traps we stumble upon on our creative journey.
The Leader
Momma miu is the mother of all the spirits and mother of creation and creativity. Her mood is light and happy and she controls everything with a smile. But it's better to get out of the way if something really makes her angry.
The Brave
Fney is the child of momma miu and a mountain goat and the only one who is bound to gravity. This gave her a hard time as a kid, but also made her strong and brave. She learned how to get her own way and with her nib spear she fights every blank page without fear. She is the spirit of the brave artist who will try over and over again and persist in finding the right way. On the other side she is more strong-headed than clever and sometimes picks fights where a little bit of cunning may have gone the longer way.
The Joyful
Pa represents the creativity of kids. There is no such thing as a mistake and it's all about the process. In her head she is constantly hatching ideas and finding inspiration in everything. She loves to collect things and admires every little part of the world. But also it's hard for her to focus with everything seeming like such a good idea and she loves to jump from one topic to the next. She is more connected to the force of creation. In fact, she got the wild, raw creative force as her pet.
The Wild
Their family pet, but mostly actually Pa's pet, is a wild creature of creativity. It is a manifestation of raw creative energy, that comes from the border lands of their world, where creativity starts to cross over the line into the insane.
The Mischievous
Rekk, always drunk on creative juices and up to no good. An ambiguous spirit, who is whispering ideas into your ear until you believe your work sucks but you start wondering if it might get better with some glasses of wine with it. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't though. It would be Rekk's doing, when you spill a glass of water over an almost finished drawing. Rekk is the creative spirit of drinking and distraction. Both of them can help or harm the creative process.
The Serious
Thean, the spirit of constant overthinking and theorising. At some point Thean was part of momma mius head, but eventually she got sick of the constantly questioning voice in her, so she pulled Thean out and made it an entity of its own. Thean loves to spend time with the perfectionist artists and is meditating a lot over the only right solution to things, instead of just trying and making something. As the spirit of indecision and self doubt, for Thean creativity is not just fun, but also a lot of pain.

The Binding of Fenrir the Wolf
There is a story in Norse mythology of the binding of Fenrir the wolf. The gigantic beast lets himself be trapped in an inconspicuous looking piece of rope, thinking he can easily tear it apart. In truth though, the rope is enchanted and cannot be destroyed and so Fenrir was trapped once and for all.
This Pattern Design was created to show the mythical story of Fenrir in a playful and decorative way.

RAU - nature based Cuisine
RAU is a restaurant in upper Austria, surrounded by stunning nature and located on the edge of a natural reserve. It offers artful cuisine, while in tune with nature and supporting the local community. The Illustrations represent its character and the feeling of being in tune with your surroundings. Key words: slightly magic, curious, emotional, nature, rough, stylised.
RAU translates as "rough", representing the surroundings and people in this remote place. As it speaks of the wildness of nature in harmony with fine human touches, I created illustrations combining wild inky strokes and smears with fine, little characters. Similar to the way humans refine nature in the art of cuisine, but also dreaming of a more fair and harmonic relationship between mankind and the world.

Urreiniger - The organic cleaner
The "Urreiniger" is the first range of organic cleaners by VIVENUM. It has only natural ingredients and is so ecologically compatible, that you can even water your plants with the cleaning water afterwards. At the same time it cleans everything spotless and keeps surfaces neat and tidy for a longer time due to its positive microflora.
To communicate all this greatness and make the Urreinger known, we put a nice branding design and illustrations around it. In the little info folder the whole process is illustrated and explained, because natural cleaning is no magic.

Infoscreen Austria - Bruno
Infoscreen is Austria's leading electronic city media, present across most areas of public transport. For years their character "Bruno" has been a key visual to shorten people's waiting or commuting times. To make the production of in-house animation videos easier, they decided to transform Bruno from 3D to a 2D character and therefore needed help with the character reamke, poses and expressions.

Character for music schools
The Musikschulmanagement Niederösterreich is an organisation that connects music schools in lower austria. In that position they are creating an extensive collection of teaching material for all musical instruments. To make this more approachable for kids we created a character, which should lead through the different exercises, like for example listening, riddles or crafting.
We created "Nömu", the little alien that comes to earth, enticed by the wonderful music in the schools. Nömu is a very good listener, loves to dance and listen to kids playing their instruments.
